Let's Make This Easy

Senior Photography Sessions
Working with teenagers is one of my very favorite things! (I was a school counselor in my previous career). This makes Senior Photography one of my specialities. Highlighting special talents and interests during the session is especially fun! I’m always up for trying something new! As with all of our sessions, helping our Senior clients feel confident and comfortable is our goal. After that, the real magic can happen!

Children & Families
Whether you have a family photo session annually or every couple of years (or even if it has been several years), investing in these memories is important. David Krause, a licensed psychologist from Cleveland, Ohio says, “I think it is really important to show a family as a family unit. A photographer’s job is to create and make the image look like a safe holding space for kids where they are safe and protected. Kids get it on a really simple level.” I love being able to help families create tangible artwork to hang in their homes.

Extended Families
In the past extended family units lived in the same town if not in the same home. This is rare today. Extended family sessions often highlight the similarities among family units. I often hear from previous clients how thankful they are that they took the time to have portraits taken with their parents and grandparents. Ferris Bueller said it best, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Make sure you don’t miss capturing your important life moments with those you love.

Engagements, Weddings & Elopements
Becoming engaged and planning a wedding requires many decisions. The choice of a photographer is an important one. But it doesn’t have to be difficult. Being comfortable with the person you choose is absolutely necessary, as they will be with you the entire day. At Lister’s Lens we specialize in small, intimate weddings which provide us the opportunity to give the individual attention to our couples. Planning to elope? Let us tag along! While the ceremony will be private, you will want to announce the marriage with stunning photos.

After making an inquiry/booking request on the website, Lisa will contact you to confirm a time, date and location. A contract will be sent for signatures and a deposit will be collected. Planning the session is the next step and will be super fun. Then it is on to Session Day! And lastly, you will receive your images via a digital platform where you can save, share and print.
I will provide a “What to Wear” guide and will help you decide clothing for you and your family if requested. We can meet prior to make decisions about colors, patterns, etc.
I have several strategies that I will share with you to help make your session the absolute best day ever. Included are suggestions for the best colors for outfits and take the time to get rid of wrinkles in clothing before your session, whether that is with an iron or some wrinkle reducer. Your nails will show so make sure that polish isn’t chipped. Leave the phone in the car and take off the Apple Watch. And mostly, be comfortable and be yourself!
